Last week I spent with my 6-year old skiing in the mountains. It was a traditional ‘Spring break’ here for all school kids. I am not sure why it is called ‘Spring’ break if it is still winter and freezing. But this year it has been very warm winter so far. So to get any snow we had to escape the city and travel quite far into the country almost to the Czech – Polish borders. But it was worth it. 🙂
Kickstarter project for an artist?
Now I am back working and trying to figure out what to do next with my art. I have been exploring the possibility of doing a Kickstarter project which if successful would enable me to focus on creating new paintings and art, and organize my future exhibition at the end of this year or most likely in 2019.
The Kickstarter could finance the creation of new paintings, short-term rent of a studio, an art book or a catalogue, and possibly art prints as well – things that could go to the supporters and backers. 🙂
If you are reading this and have some opinion or experience with Kickstarters please leave a comment for me below! 🙂
Now it is time to go and start sorting my sketches of the mountains. Among them, I find my son’s drawings. Since he loves the technical things he often draws machines, robots and engines. So his drawings are focusing on ski-lifts! I love his drawings so much so I have to share one. 🙂
