It was already January and I was doodling and playing with new drawings when I realized that it might be a nice idea to make the new illustrations part of a calendar. So the pencil and ink drawings got developed further into colorful pictures. And this week I am finalizing a new Calendar printable 2018 called Never Stop Dreaming.
It is going to be in three formats. A4 size starting Mondays, and US Letter and 8×10 inches starting Sundays.
What are ‘printables’?
‘Printables’ are quite a recent thing. You buy a printable poster, picture, planner or a calendar which is usually a PDF or JPG file that you print yourself either at home or at local printers. This way you save on postage and packaging fees. And the artist or designer can sell his/her designs directly to customers without a third party being involved. Never Stop Dreaming 2018 Calendar is my first printable product.
Never Stop Dreaming Series
Pictures that are part of this calendar belong to a larger series. Before the idea of the calendar came to me I had already been working on a variety of artwork. At that time I had called them “Never Stop Dreaming” series. Mostly the artwork had been hand drawn pencil and ink sketches and illustrations.
The theme itself was very personal. It came from a time period when I had been struggling and needed myself some encouragement. Although drawing and paintings have always been helping me take mind off troublesome things, this time I started creating imagery which themes were uplifting and joyful.
So let’s never stop dreaming. Because if we do not stop dreaming and we keep executing based on our dreams, then our dreams can come true. 🙂
